Nashville Aesthetics with Wilder

Picture a person you know who possesses effortlessly good taste. Now imagine getting to look through their eyes to uncover the aesthetic secrets they hold so dear. That would be pretty wild, right? Well, lucky for you, that’s exactly what we did with Wilder, Nashville’s most aesthetically tempting concept store with an anything-but-ordinary selection of pieces from furniture to apparel from the world’s leading contemporary designers.

Founders Ivy and Josh Elrod, a fabulously in-the-know couple who were once A Rockette and A Blue Man (casual) in New York City, relocated to Nashville to open their first Wilder store in 2014. Their two decades in the Big Apple formed their illustrious backgrounds in film, theatre, and art, so it’s no surprise their eye for the visually pleasing took Nashville by one Instagram-worthy storm.

As two of the city’s most coveted tastemakers, I simply had to get a glimpse for what Nashville looks like to them beyond Wilder’s walls. So here we are, on a ride through Josh and Ivy’s favorite sights about town from the prettiest of plates all the way to the city’s most inspiring bathrooms. And yes, we know what you’re thinking and it’s true, your Nashville Instagrams are about to get one hell of an aesthetic upgrade.
